AI Credits & Subscription
What consumes AI credits, how monthly renewal works, and where to track usage and billing.
Your workspace runs on a subscription that includes a monthly allowance of AI credits — the currency every AI-powered feature draws from. Open Subscription in the sidebar to see your plan, balance, and history.
Plans
| Plan | Monthly AI credits |
|---|---|
| Starter | 15,000 |
| Business | 45,000 |
| Enterprise | Custom allowance for large organizations |
Current pricing is shown on the Subscription page. To change plans, use Upgrade Plan under Manage or change plans or contact the Veflow team.
What consumes credits
Credits are deducted from your company's shared balance whenever an AI feature does work:
| Action | Notes |
|---|---|
| AI agent conversations | Each AI-generated reply, including work done by agent tools such as web search and email |
| Veflow Assistant | AI actions performed by the built-in assistant |
| Knowledge-base ingestion | Uploading documents triggers AI summarization and metadata extraction |
| Lead Finder unlocks | 1 credit per prospect unlocked — see Lead Finder |
| Video generation | Varies with length and options — see Video Generator |
| CRM AI features | AI summaries and AI-drafted emails on lead profiles |
Deductions are atomic and logged: every charge records who triggered it, the amount, and the balance after — so usage is fully auditable.
Monthly renewal
On the 1st of each month, workspaces with an active subscription are topped back up to their plan's monthly allowance:
- If your balance is below the allowance, it is reset to the full allowance.
- If your balance is already at or above the allowance, nothing changes — renewal never takes credits away.
- Each renewal is logged in your credit history with the amount added.
The Next Billing Date on the Subscription page tells you when the next cycle starts.
Tracking usage
The Subscription page gives you three headline numbers:
- Total AI Credits — your plan's monthly allowance
- AI Credits Used — consumed this cycle
- AI Credits Remaining — what is left to spend
Usage is also tracked per member, so admins can see who is consuming credits. Click Detail for a closer breakdown.
Billing history
The Billing History table lists every subscription charge and credit top-up with its Date, Package, Nominal, Method, and Status, plus a Download action for records you need to keep. Click See more for the full history.
Running out of credits
When the shared balance hits zero, AI actions stop with an insufficient credits error — conversations needing AI replies, document ingestion, unlocks, and video generation will all refuse until credits return. Non-AI features (viewing data, manual CRM edits, ERP transactions) keep working normally.
If you regularly run dry before month-end, consider a higher plan — or trim heavy consumers like bulk document uploads and long videos.
Who can manage billing
Workspace admins (SUPER_ADMIN) manage the subscription for the whole company. Members can consume credits through the features they use, but plan changes and billing are admin territory.
